REIGNWOLF KEXP show Flyer. First Ever Reignwolf Show.
KEXP printed these for Jordan/Reignwolf’s first Seattle show back in 2010. It was the first ever “Reignwolf” show. So prior to the show, KEXP contacted me to pick up the flyers and when I picked them up, I realized instantly that he couldn’t play shows under his name. As soon as I got home, I started thinking about band names while sitting in my living room listening to The Cult “LOVE” at full volume & writing down ideas in a notebook. Nothing came to mind, except we both loved Howlin Wolf. Witching a few minutes with no kick, I looked at the track listing of the Cult album I was listening to and the name was basically right there in front of me on the back cover. Essentially, The Cult named Reignwolf, I was just the messenger! I owned a sign shop at the time and immediately drew up a wolf image and found a “Cult Love” free font to use on his kick drum for a good old DIY night of the show rebranding. Once at the show with the Reignwolf graphic on the kick drum front and center of the stage at the packed Sunset Tavern, people forgot about “Jordan Cook,” and a couple people even asked who Jordan Cook was, not know he was actually Reignwolf. It was his first time playing in Seattle and nobody had ever heard of him. That show changed it all and the entire set is up on YouTube if you want to watch it. Anyway, this is the only remaining flyer and none were ever used. I’ve moved a few times and the other 10 were destroyed by water damage. This one survived so I had it framed and now it can be yours.
